ADHD av misstag nyare2

The ADHD book, Mistaken for ADHD, the parents, teacher’s, social worker’s, and healthcare professional’s guide to the accurate diagnosis of ADHD in children; has just been released in the Swedish language.

In Sweden, Mistaken for ADHD translates as “ADHD av misstag” and is to be used as a two-volume textbook in graduate and professional schools. The Swedish publisher had Mistaken for ADHD reviewed by a professor in one of the largest academic hospitals in Sweden who felt it was would be a valuable addition to college and professional school student’s behavioral learning experience.

Of course, I’m biased and agree that Mistaken for ADHD is a great resource for ensuring the proper evaluation and diagnosis of ADHD in behavior problem children while preventing the misdiagnosis of ADHD in misbehaving children and teens.

Based on the volume of e-mail comments and questions I receive about topics in the book and on this website and published at www.ADHDbehavior.com, I think Mistaken has been well received by teachers, parents, lawyers, social workers, counselors, and other healthcare professionals in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.

Hopefully, my next book tentatively titled “The Misbehaving Brain” will receive just as much attention!

Thanks for your support, encouragement and for spreading the word in preventing ADHD misdiagnosis and wrongful labeling. Your help may just make the difference and save a child from all of that discrimination and bias associated with the label ADHD.
